"The early results released from the Nice Insight survey highlight how much
work companies need to do to improve customer awareness and perception. This
type of marketing intelligence is not easily available, which is what makes
the Nice Insight product offering appealing as a tool to aid strategic

Nice Insight randomly selects respondents from a group of over 100,000 qualified individuals who are key industry influencers and decision makers. Survey respondents answer between 30 and 40 questions, based on their answer choices and outsourcing behaviors.
Nice Insight implements random sampling coupled with external selection to help ensure that results represent an accurate reflection of the industry. Our surveys also meet the criteria of a scientific poll, meaning there is an equal chance of selecting any member of the targeted population, as respondents are chosen at random and are not self-selected.
Through customized reports, Nice Insight can help businesses better understand the impact of their marketing communications and return on investment:

Nice Insight’s proprietary data provides a robust baseline from which to benchmark how your customer base perceives your business and refine your planning process for revenue generating activities. These activities include initiating targeted business development, developing more effective customer messaging, and transitioning from a recognized brand to a preferred brand.
Customer Perception Scores (CP) 1-20 = Unsatisfactory 21-40 = Poor 41-60 = Average 61-80 = Good 81-100 = Excellent
Customer Awareness (CA) Below Average = 20-43 Average = 44-46 Above Average = 47+ For the Customer Awareness score, Nice Insight uses the industry average (by finding the mean and median scores for the companies included in the research) to define the "Average" range, and then categorizes companies that score lower into "Below Average" and companies that score higher into "Above Average." This gives a more useful score because it helps a business identify if they are as well known as their competitors, or if they need to generate more awareness to their business and service offering. The scoring that factors into the CA number that we use to define the ranges above are as follows: 1-20 = I've never heard of them 21-40 = I recognize the logo and/or name 41-60 = I know a little about the company 61-80 = I know the company well, but have not worked with them 81-100 = I know the company and have worked with them
